Operations Administrator – Job Description
SUMMARY
As part of efforts to support continued growth of Bevo’s industry leading agricultural business, we are searching for an Operations Administrator to provide key back-end support to various operational functions within the company. This role is temporary-1 year contract. This role includes a diverse array of responsibility involving general administrative, clerical, and communicative support across departments. Duties may include general support to operations, including labour/activities management, time management, and communication with sales, accounting, shipping and receiving.
The ideal candidate for this role is adaptive and flexible and enjoys a fast-paced environment where daily routines can change quickly based on seasonality and current requirements. Working under the Operations Manager, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and will leverage your experience business operations expertise to help ensure daily/weekly goals are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily floor planning and task allocation. Working with the Operations Manager:

Develop and implement effective strategies for allocating personnel to tasks, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.

Monitor and adjust daily plans based on real-time needs and priorities.

Change Management. Working with the Operations Manager:

Assist and supervise in change management initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies.

Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes.

Information Management. Working with the IT team:

Enhance accuracy and accessibility of data within the company’s ERP/PBI software.

Ensure seamless information flow between departments, facilitating better communication and decision-making.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of operational processes and procedures.

Cross-departmental coordination

As required, liase between sales, accounting, shipping and receiving to ensure cohesive follow through of orders from sell-point to delivery.

Take part in regular meetings and updates to align department goals and activities.

Data entry and Analysis

Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy

Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent in the relevant field

Minimum 1 year of experience working with ERP/Power BI

Post-secondary education in administration considered a strong asset

Proficient in Office 365 applications

Proficient in data entry and management

Excellent organizational, time-management, and administrative skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred experience working in agriculture or greenhouse
MISCELLANOEUS REQUIREMENT

Ability to start working early at 6:30AM when required

PAY
CAD $25-$28 per hour based on experience
