Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fence Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of fences, ensuring safety, precision, and quality in every project. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans related to fence installation projects
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately according to project specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently for fence installation
- Dig post holes using concrete forming techniques; set posts securely in concrete foundations
- Install chain link fencing, gates, and related hardware with precision
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, sealing, or painting fences as needed
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for tools and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Experience
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or fencing is highly preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, welding experience, and heavy equipment operation is beneficial
- Experience with restoration work or cabinet installation is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments
