We are looking for a dependable Forklift Operator to join our client in Barrie.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound trailers and load outbound trailers using a forklift and handheld scanner
- De-rack trailers, remove and stack boards, and fold/store tarps
- Sort and distribute freight to local delivery drivers
- Stage overflow freight for linehaul pickup
- Scan, record, count, and inspect freight for accuracy
- Arrange freight to maximize trailer space and meet departure deadlines
- Start trailer heaters and apply placards as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Counterbalance license is required
- Previous forklift and cross-dock experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Shift: Monday to Friday, Shift starting at 1:00 AM or 2:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Pay: $23.98 per hour
