Responsibilities
- Assist masons with preparing and setting up work sites using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed
- Mix mortar, concrete, and other materials accurately for various masonry applications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes safely to transport materials around the site
- Perform demolition, restoration, and renovation tasks to support ongoing projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by properly storing tools and materials
- Support caulking and sealing tasks during restoration or renovation projects to ensure quality finishes
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is highly preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of masonry techniques including bricklaying, stonework, or concrete finishing is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
- Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration, renovation, and construction processes
- Must have own transportation
