Job Title: Forklift mechanic or any kind of mechanic
Will train right candidate
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, such as checking fluid levels and inspecting tires, repair of forklifts and diagnosing problems.
- Ensure safe operation of the forklift and comply with all safety regulations
- Assist with inventory control by accurately recording parts used
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Proficient in using hand tools and equipment related to forklift operation
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts, such as Caterpillar, dig, or crane
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow instructions
- Experience with automotive repair or farm machinery is a plus
- Welding skills are a plus
