This is hybrid role where you will be asked to be in office two to three days a week, with limited travel outside of your hub.
As a Senior Cybersecurity Sales Specialist, you’ll be at the center of innovation, driving change and delivering results that matter. Your consultative approach will help clients see beyond technology and understand how cybersecurity is the key to unlocking their potential.

Here’s what to expect in your role:
Executive Engagement & Strategic Consultation:
Build trusted relationships with senior executives (CIO, CISO, CEO, CFO) to understand their goals and challenges
Lead cybersecurity posture assessments to identify risks and opportunities
Position TELUS as a strategic advisor, showcasing how our solutions drive business transformation
Strategic Sales & Business Development:
Own and grow Cybersecurity accounts in Western Canada's Enterprise segments
Collaborate with high-performing field account teams to uncover new opportunities
Deliver compelling presentations and tailored solutions to meet client needs
Sales Cycle Mastery:
Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals
Lead RFP responses and contract negotiations with precision
Navigate procurement processes to maximize market potential, especially in commercial accounts
Value Creation & Solution Consulting:
Identify areas where TELUS Security can add value and address specific business needs
Focus on consulting, outsourcing, staff augmentation, and managed services
Demonstrate ROI and business impact to executive stakeholders
Leadership & Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams (Sales Executives, Solution Architects, Product Management) to deliver exceptional results
Represent TELUS as a trusted brand ambassador in the cybersecurity space
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years managing large, complex accounts in the cybersecurity industry. Proven sales expertise in Mid-Market/Enterprise/Public Sector accounts
Skills: Consultative selling, executive engagement, and a knack for translating technical requirements into business value
Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and solutions like Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response, and IAM
Language: Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope
Proficiency in French is an asset, but not required
Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent

Salary Range: $190,000-$230,000 OTE
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
