TEAMS Transport is a Canadian Medium Sized Carrier specializing in dry freight, & deck freight transport to destinations across North America. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our busy Calgary office.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our transportation operations. The CSR serves as the primary point of contact for our customers and internal teams, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and communication is clear and proactive.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding shipments, deliveries, and service inquiries
- Process orders, enter shipment details, and maintain accurate records in TMS/CRM systems
- Track and monitor loads to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- Provide shipment status updates and resolve service issues promptly
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet service commitments
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Handle billing inquiries, rate confirmations, and documentation requests
- Proactively identify potential service disruptions and communicate solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure retention and satisfaction
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of customer service experience (transportation/logistics preferred)
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and written)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS - Trans Plus – Fleet) or similar software preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Problem-solving mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude
