Freelance Zoho Implementer / Zoho Systems Specialist
Prowl Communications is looking for an experienced freelance Zoho Implementer to support client projects on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working across the Zoho ecosystem, understands how different Zoho applications connect with each other, and can help set up practical, functional systems for small to mid-sized businesses.
This is not currently a full-time position, but we are looking for someone who could become a trusted long-term partner, with the potential for increased hours and possibly full-time work in the future as project volume grows.
Projects may be small and occasional, or they may become more involved when we are onboarding larger Zoho One clients, building CRM systems, setting up automation, or integrating multiple tools together.
Key Responsibilities
The Freelance Zoho Implementer will assist with the setup, configuration, customization, testing, and implementation of Zoho applications for client projects. Responsibilities may include:
- Setting up Zoho One applications and standalone Zoho tools based on client needs
- Configuring Zoho CRM, including modules, layouts, fields, pipelines, workflows, automations, dashboards, reports, and user permissions
- Supporting setup and implementation of tools such as Zoho Projects, Zoho Analytics, SalesIQ, Campaigns, Connect, Cliq, Social, Bigin, Books, Start, Zoho Voice, TrainerCentral, and other Zoho applications as needed
- Connecting and integrating various Zoho applications so they work together effectively
- Assisting with Zoho Flow automations and third-party integrations
- Supporting data migration, imports, cleanup, and field mapping
- Testing workflows, automations, forms, integrations, and user access before launch
- Helping document setup processes and client instructions
- Troubleshooting Zoho-related issues during and after implementation
- Working with the Prowl Communications team to translate client requirements into practical Zoho solutions
- Providing recommendations when there is a better or more efficient way to structure a system
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and configuring Zoho applications for real business use. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, comfortable working independently, and able to step into projects with relatively short notice when needed.
Required experience includes:
- Strong working knowledge of Zoho CRM
- Experience setting up multiple Zoho One applications
- Comfort with CRM customization, workflows, automations, reports, dashboards, and user permissions
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into Zoho configurations
- Experience integrating Zoho applications with each other
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal team members
- Ability to work on a freelance, project-based, or as-needed schedule
- Must be located in Canada

- Experience working with small business, B2B, service-based, manufacturing, distribution, or professional service clients
Availability
This is a freelance position with flexible and variable hours. Some weeks may require very little time, while larger projects may require more involvement over a concentrated period. The successful applicant must be comfortable working on an as-needed basis and able to respond within a reasonable timeframe when new projects or client needs arise.
While this role is freelance to start, there is potential for the right person to grow with our company into more consistent hours and possibly a full-time role in the future.
