Early Child Care Educator - Out of School Classroom (9:30am to 6:00pm)

Develop and implement program activities based on Kittens’ Mittens Child Care Curriculum with other educators and mentors to promote the children’s unique physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Develop schedules and routines in accordance with daily habits and necessities of children in the classroom
Individualize the curriculum as required, ensuring that all activities are accessible
Monitor, guide and engage children during learning and play times (indoor and outdoor), meal times, proper hygiene caring, and nap/rest times in order to maintain a secure and safe environment
Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress and/or behavioral and learning difficulties children may present with parents and other staff members
Assist other Early Child Care Educators and other Mentors in keeping records
Maintain child care equipment and assist in housekeeping
Maintain physical environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
Help in serving snacks and lunch, arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
End-of-day cleaning duties
Order supplies and equipment for the classroom
Other related duties as assigned

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
