About Us
Numbers Cabaret is Vancouver’s longest-standing LGBTQ2+ nightlife venues on Davie St, known for its inclusive atmosphere and high-energy environment. We operate a fast-paced club with multiple levels, DJs, and weekly events including drag shows, karaoke, and themed nights.
Position Overview
We are hiring a Barback/Busser to support bar operations and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment throughout service. This role is essential to keeping the night running smoothly and supporting the bar team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear glassware, bottles, and debris from all areas of the club
- Operate glass washers and manage glassware flow
- Restock bars with liquor, ice, and glassware
- Clean spills immediately and maintain safe walkways
- Assist bartenders and team members as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs/23 kg (empty kegs, syrup boxes) and move stock/orders
- Previous bar or nightclub experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be 19+ of age (BC legal drinking age)
Scheduling
- Thursday to Sunday operations
- Standard Thursday, Friday, and Sunday hours: 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- Standard Saturday hours: 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM
- Bussers start 30 minutes before opening
- Earlier/later start times may apply for events
- Thursday and Sunday availability preferred

- Hourly wage + tip pool
