Stone Road Family Dental, conveniently located in the Stone Road Mall, is seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to join our talented team as a dental assistant in training. We are a flourishing, busy office, family friendly medical clinic. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic learner, can multi-task efficiently and will bring a positive overall energy to complement our friendly environment.

DUTIES
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
SKILLS
- Experience in dental assisting, including knowledge of dental instruments and procedures an asset
- High school diploma a must; post grad experience as asset
- Strong communication skills both verbal and writen
- Proficient computer skills
- Able to learn while doing and follow direction easily
