Currently recruiting for a Family lawyer for a boutique family law firm in Downtown Edmonton. It would be a 50/50 split on receivables. This firm does have a very active marketing strategy and they can definitely keep you busy.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law cases
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements that serve the best interests of clients while aiming for favorable outcomes.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and options throughout the legal process.
- Prepare cases for court proceedings by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing case strategies.
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with all legal standards and deadlines.
- Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and relevant legal precedents to provide accurate counsel.
