Job We are looking for a individual to work full time in Our Smokehouse. We are adding new Greek items to the menu. We need someone to be organized, quick, and think ahead. Please call to meet, Don 905-708-5534.
Duties
- Manage kitchen work flow
- Organize kitchen during high volume and peak times
- Prepare and cook smoked meats, including brisket, ribs, and other specialty items, following established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, maintaining excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety of all menu items
Experience
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, especially within the food industry or smokehouse settings
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food service operations, including serving guests in a timely manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
