NovaShores Adventures Sea Kayaking is a family-owned tourism business in rural Nova Scotia, offering guided and fully catered day and overnight sea kayaking experiences. As our tours continue to grow in popularity, we are looking for a passionate and organized caterer to join our team for the season.
We take great pride in serving healthy, sustainable, seasonal meals inspired by our coastal environment. Many of our vegetables are grown in our own garden, and we source additional ingredients from local mills and organic farmers whenever possible.
The ideal candidate enjoys preparing fresh, high-quality food in a dynamic outdoor tourism setting and is comfortable adapting meals to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Responsibilities include meal preparation, menu adjustments, inventory management, updating shopping lists, packing food and supplies for tours, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace before and after tours.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who values local food, sustainability, and being part of a close-knit team creating memorable experiences for visitors to Nova Scotia. Free housing is available to the right candidate.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
