Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Crew Member to join our team in providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food, handling customer transactions, and ensuring a clean and safe dining experience. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Square POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs
- Manage cashier duties efficiently, including processing payments and up selling menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and hygiene practices
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods
- Support team members in daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Square POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings if required
