Landscape Construction Labourer – Hardscape - READ BEFORE APPLYING
Antoine Property Services is hiring a reliable and hardworking Landscape Construction Labourer to join our hardscape crew. This position focuses on the construction of interlock patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, steps, drainage systems, and other outdoor features throughout Hamilton and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation, grading, base preparation, and compaction
- Install interlock pavers, retaining-wall blocks, steps, edging, and natural stone
- Load, unload, and move aggregates, soil, pavers, and other materials
- Assist with demolition and removal of existing hardscape
- Use hand tools, plate compactors, concrete saws, and other construction equipment safely
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow plans, measurements, grades, and instructions from the crew leader
- Complete general landscaping work when required
Qualifications
- Previous hardscape, landscape-construction, masonry, or excavation experience is preferred
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work and lifting heavy materials
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working long days outdoors
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are preferred
- Experience operating a mini skid steer, skid steer, compactor, or concrete saw is an asset
- Trailer-driving experience is an asset
