Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metal Cladding / Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and metal cladding installation, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and quality workmanship. This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, ensuring roofs and facades are durable, weather-resistant, and visually appealing. The position offers opportunities to develop expertise in roofing systems and construction techniques within a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Install metal cladding panels and roofing materials according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools such as drills, hammers, and snips to cut, shape, and secure materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofing systems
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support as needed
- Conduct inspections during installation to maintain quality standards
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, roofing, or metal cladding installation
- Proficiency with hand tools and familiarity with blueprint reading
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of caulking, waterproofing, and sealing techniques
- Strong carpentry skills or handyman experience are a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Commitment to safety standards and attention to detail for high-quality results
Pay: $20.97-$35.00 per hour
