Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Supervise and motivate team members, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting interviews to build a strong, efficient team
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper kitchen practices
- Utilize POS systems such as Micros to process transactions accurately and efficiently while handling cash responsibly
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors to maintain optimal stock levels for food and beverages
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service to foster guest satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with supervising responsibilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros or similar platforms for sales processing
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and conduct interviews confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Previous experience working in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is advantageous
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage restaurant operations efficiently
