Job Overview
FinisherPix is looking for a paid video assistant to work IRONMAN Canada-Ottawa on Sunday, August 2, in Ottawa from 5:00am for 10 to 15 hours.
Duties
- The job will consist of watching several GoPro cameras placed at different locations on the course and ensuring that they don't 1. walk away; 2. get knocked over; 3. stop recording; and 4. prevent people from standing in front of them blocking the camera's view. Requirements
- No experience nor heavy lifting is required.
- Bring a small camp chair if you don't want to stand the whole time.
- There will be a pre-event meeting on Saturday, August 1 at 6:00pm to go over the assignment in more detail.
- Knowledge of operating GoPros is an asset
Note: If you have photography experience and a pro-consumer lever camera and lenses, and have an interest in doing some photography work, an option to photograph athletes while minding the GoPros might be an option.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
