Now hiring a new caregiver for Bailey (she/her), a 28 year-old quadriplegic who is funny, cool, and really hoping she is about to sell you on this job.
a typical day's responsibilities include:
- help getting up and ready for the day including dressing, grooming, and showering
- bowel and bladder care (will teach you the ropes, just gotta be open to learning)
- literally hang out with me
- cooking
- light housekeeping
- run errands with me
- laundry
- walking my service dog (10 year old golden lab)
- did I mention hanging out with me? unless I want to chill alone then feel free to bring a book, do some homework etc.
- live my everyday life with me
- take me to sports practices and movie nights with pals.
- tuck me into bed
No experience is necessary and I have a team of caregivers with a wide range of experience and backgrounds. But health care aides (HCA) and nursing students often thrive in this role. Folks who are outgoing, community-oriented, and thrive in a job with no 'typical' day are welcome additions.
I have flexible shifts for part-time and casual employees across daytime, evening, and weekend hours. successful applicants must have evening and weekend availability.
2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, trauma informed applicants are encouraged to apply.
All employees start at $25 per hour.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
