We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Assistant Manager to join our growing team. You will support the Sales Manager in driving revenue, managing the luxury sales pipeline, and ensuring every guest experiences the "art of the drive". The ideal candidate is a leader who balances high-level strategy with hands-on sales support to achieve ambitious dealership targets.Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Assist in coaching, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to meet or exceed monthly and annual objectives.
- Sales Support: Actively participate in closing deals with Sales Consultants and provide a "concierge-style" approach to high-net-worth clients.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily sales activities, including showroom presentation, vehicle inventory management, and CRM accuracy (Salesforce).
- Lead Management: Monitor lead pipelines and ensure a 24-hour follow-up standard for all prospective customers.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain expert-level knowledge of Karma’s Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) technology and sustainable luxury features.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales documents, including purchase and lease agreements, are completed accurately and in compliance with local laws.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years in automotive sales, preferably in the luxury or exotic sector, with a proven track record of meeting targets.
- Licensing: A valid Vehicle Sales Authority (VSA) License and a clean BC Driver’s License are required.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead by example and resolve customer concerns with a "can-do" attitude.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese) is a strong asset for our diverse market.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce/DealerSocket) and MS Office.

- Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant management roles within a retail setting
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervising or team management experience
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of merchandising, purchasing, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and store budgeting
- Ability to interview candidates effectively and participate in recruiting efforts to build high-performing teams
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with training & development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and engagement
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not required
