Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, enforcing security protocols, and maintaining a safe environment. This role is vital in preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, contributing to the overall safety of our organization. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is highly valued, along with familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the premises
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and trespassing
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of security incidents and daily activities
- Assist visitors and employees by providing directions or information while ensuring access control
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Physical ability to patrol the premises on foot as needed
- Must be able to pass background checks and any necessary licensing requirements
