We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, with a strong focus in therapeutic and deep tissue massage.
- Assess client concerns and develop personalized treatment plans to address specific issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up services or home care routines.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Promote wellness programs and additional services offered by the facility to enhance client experience.
- Communicate effectively with clients before, during, and after sessions to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by provincial or local regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and empathetically.
- Strong communication skills for explaining procedures and addressing client questions or concerns.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
