Our At Last Forest Schools program is looking for teaching staff who have availability to work 1-2 days per week (Tuesdays and possible additional day 8:30-3:30 plus prep time) at our Niagara location (Cedar Bay, Port Colborne area). Additional days may be available depending on enrolment and additional programming. This position will commence in September. Should the successful applicant be available they can possibly start immediately for the remainder of our school year as well (May/June).
At Last Forest Schools takes a creative approach to education that fosters emergent and play based learning opportunities for students. To compliment our current team of teachers, we are hiring individuals who are passionate in alternative education and have experience working with kids.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or graduated with a teaching degree, Forest School practitioner course, ECE, CYW, and/or significant experience teaching children in the outdoors is an asset.
- First aid/CPR
- Passed Vulnerable Sector Check
