One of our clients is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Office Assistant & Industrial Cleaner in Pembroke, ON. This dual-role position is ideal for someone comfortable working in a warehouse environment while also supporting basic office and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse during part of the shift and provide light office support during the remainder of the day.
Responsibilities
Warehouse / Cleaning Duties
· Sweep, mop, and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, and walkways
· Remove dust, debris, scrap materials, and general waste from work areas
· Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
· Clean washrooms, break rooms, offices, and shared spaces
· Wipe down surfaces, windows, doors, and high-touch areas
· Operate basic industrial cleaning equipment when required
· Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance issues
Office / Administrative Support
· Perform data entry and basic computer tasks
· Scan, file, and organize documents (physical and digital)
· Assist with folding, sorting, and preparing paperwork as required
· Maintain organized filing systems and office supplies
· Support general clerical duties as assigned
· Ensure office and administrative areas remain clean and organized
Requirements
· Previous experience in cleaning, warehouse work, or office administration is an asset
· Basic computer skills (email, data entry, scanning, file management)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
