Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating machinery, managing production processes, and ensuring the quality of vinyl mats. The ideal candidate will have experience with manufacturing equipment, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate vinyl mat production line machinery efficiently and safely to meet daily production targets
- Set up and adjust equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products
- Assist with material handling, including heavy lifting and forklift operation when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve manufacturing processes
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, machine operation, and warehouse procedures
Requirements
- Must have computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office - Excel, Teams. Willingness to learn ERP software
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoy working with a team
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, and equipment maintenance
- Willing to operate forklifts safely
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and machinery operation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Prior experience working with manufacturing or assembly lines is desirable
Hours are Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm
Pay: From $20.10 per hour
