Who We Are
ROHL Global Networks Inc. is a Western Canada-based infrastructure company with operations across North America, specializing in telecommunications, utility construction, solar energy, and power infrastructure — serving enterprise, government, and wholesale clients.
We are hiring full-time Labourers to support crews on a newly awarded multi-year contract, offering stable year-round work and career growth in utility and telecommunications construction.
The Role
Reporting to the Crew Supervisor, the Labourer supports construction activities across all phases of ROHL projects. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring a strong work ethic, safety focus, and the ability to perform in a fast-moving crew environment.
Our Labourers’ core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Site Support & Material Handling

Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials safely throughout the worksite.

Assist operators with spotting and signaling for safe equipment movement.

Perform grading and site preparation tasks, including shoveling, raking, leveling, and clearing terrain.

Operate small equipment and tools such as tampers, pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and skid steers (where qualified).

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Traffic Control & Worksite Operations

Set up, adjust, and remove traffic control devices per approved plans.

Direct traffic safely when required to protect crew members, the public, and equipment operations.

Support crews during mobilization, demobilization, and daily site setup activities.
Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices at all times.

Participate in daily tailboard meetings, safety briefings, and site inspections.

Support supervisors and the Safety Department in maintaining a compliant work environment.
Teamwork & Professional Conduct

Work safely, reliably, and productively as part of a crew environment.

Maintain reliable attendance and arrive ready for physical outdoor work.

Act with respect, professionalism, and accountability toward coworkers, clients, and the public.

Take direction well and contribute positively to overall crew performance.
What you Bring
-
Previous experience in construction, utility, telecommunications, or civil infrastructure environments is considered an asset.

Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment (experience with skid steers or similar equipment is an asset).

Strong awareness of workplace safety and ability to follow safe work procedures at all times.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation

Ability to work as part of a crew and follow direction from supervisors and equipment operators.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to punctuality and attendance.

Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and travel when required by project needs.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment in accordance with job demands.
