About the Role
PigRun Solutions Inc. is looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join our team in Brockville, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in assembly, product testing, inventory organization, shipping/receiving, and general production support.
We are looking for someone practical, reliable, organized, and willing to learn. The right person should be comfortable working independently, following instructions, solving problems, and growing with the company over time.
Responsibilities
The Production Technician will be responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities, including:
- Assembling electronic and mechanical products
- Testing devices and confirming they meet quality standards
- Using a laptop for basic tasks such as testing, data entry, reports, updates, and documentation
- Organizing the production area and keeping the office/workshop clean and efficient
- Counting inventory and keeping track of parts, tools, and finished products
- Preparing shipments and receiving incoming parts or materials
- Following production procedures and quality-control checklists
- Reporting issues, defects, missing parts, or production delays
- Supporting continuous improvement of the production and testing process
- Working independently when needed and taking ownership of assigned tasks
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Hands-on experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, electronics, or a related field
- Basic laptop/computer skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organization skills
- Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technical skills
- Ability to work alone and stay productive without constant supervision
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Brockville office every day
- Willingness to relocate to Brockville, Ontario, if not already local
Nice to Have
The following skills are considered an asset:
- Soldering experience
- Experience testing electronic devices
- Experience with hand tools, multimeters, or basic electronic test equipment
- Experience with inventory, shipping, and receiving
- Experience working in a small company or startup environment

Work Environment
This is an in-person role based at our production office in Brockville, Ontario. The candidate must be comfortable working independently, staying organized, and helping with different tasks around production, inventory, shipping, receiving, and product testing.
Pay: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
