We are a small local pharmacy whose mission is to provide the upmost care to patients and, in doing so, contribute to the community.
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team to work on a PT basis with shifts starting from 6:00AM and ending at 11:00AM/11:30AM.
Total Weekly Hours: ~25 depending on pharmacy needs
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Visiting patients in the community (in their homes)
- Performing 5 minute head to toe assessments including patient specific vital signs (Blood glucose monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry check, etc.)
- Medications management (orally, injections, creams, patches) within the LPN scope of practice - does not involve personal care and similar responsibilities as in hospital
- Interpreting assessment data to adjust medications as per the directions of the primary healthcare professional
- Contacting the pharmacy for further directions when in doubt or further clarification is needed
- Documentation of all findings, interventions, and outcomes
- Submitting daily reports to Pharmacist on duty
Qualifications:
- Licensed and practicing with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM)
- Driver's License
- Access to reliable personal vehicle

- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and customer service skills
- Criminal Record Check will be requested upon successful offer
Use of own car will be compensated.

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
Licence/Certification:
- LPN license with BCCNM (preferred)
