Starting in 2017, Adaleg IT (www.adalegit.com) began teaching adults in Jewish Communities how develop software, construct data pipelines, create machine learning models, and architect on the cloud.
Four years ago, we started a new division that addresses the digital literacy needs of youth in the USA and Canada. Our program teaches kids (grades 3-12) - during the school day and after - how to code.
Over the past few years, we have taught over 2500 children how to code. We are running programs in several schools in Chicago, New Jersey, NYC, Toronto, etc.

Job description
- General Familiarity with Python (primarily) or other coding languages.
- Some experience with children (teaching experience is optimal)
- Degree in Computer Science
- Familiarity with the Jewish Community is *Necessary*
- A fun attitude, ready to tackle challenges and mentor kids and young adults
- Familiarity with online platforms like Zoom and online coding platforms like Trinket.io (we familiarize our teachers with this platform, regardless).
- Flexible Hrs (Hours TBD) – 1 hr or 45 min periods (one can teach one or more) four days a week (Monday to Friday), from 4-6:20pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
