We are looking for a Stereoscopic Prep TA to support a critical delivery phase on a feature animation project. This role is focused on the technical side of stereoscopic prep—troubleshooting file issues, supporting delivery workflows, improving efficiency through tools or scripts where needed, and helping the team solve setup problems before they impact the client handoff.
You will help the team move through final delivery with fewer technical blockers. Success in this role means files open as expected, package issues are solved quickly, repetitive prep work is streamlined where possible, and technical risks are identified early enough to avoid delivery delays.
What You’ll Be Doing

Troubleshoot File and Package Issues: Investigate broken links, missing dependencies, script errors, and other technical issues that could affect delivery readiness.

Support Prep Workflows: Build, adapt, or run tools and scripts that help validate files, clean packages, or reduce repetitive manual work.

Partner on Delivery Readiness: Work closely with the Supervisor and Prep Artist to identify risks, solve technical blockers, and keep the handoff process moving.

Improve Reliability: Help the team standardize technical checks and identify practical ways to make prep and delivery more stable and efficient.

Provide Pipeline Support: Act as a technical point of support during the delivery phase, helping the team navigate setup issues across lighting, compositing, and packaging workflows.
Requirements
What You Bring

Technical Problem-Solving: You are comfortable diagnosing file, script, or pipeline issues and finding practical solutions quickly.

Tool and Script Confidence: You can work with internal tools, scripts, or light automation to support production needs and reduce manual effort.

Pipeline Experience: You have experience working in a CG production workflows tracing issues, supporting artists, and improving delivery stability.

Software: Production experience with Nuke required; Blender experience, knowledge or interest a bonus

Reliable Execution: You work carefully, communicate clearly, and stay calm when solving technical issues under deadline pressure.

Team Partnership: You work well with artists, production, and technical leads, balancing responsiveness with practical judgment.
Benefits
Location: Candidates based in BC will be prioritized.
Contract: Mid-June - Mid October
Pay Range: CAD $ 1400 - 1500 $ per week
