Position Overview
You are upbeat, a self-starter and a creative thinker who listens and responds to customer needs. Your goal: to deliver an exceptional shopping experience and help Gibbys remain a leader in home and car electronics retail in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer and deliver a world-class shopping experience whether it be in-store, by phone or by email – Gibbys is the largest single store omni-channel retailer in Canada who’s customers are from all across Canada.
- Provide expert solutions on home and car electronics, as well as custom home installation products and services by offering solutions tailored to customer needs
- Stay current on product updates and store promotions through regular training-Gibbys has a comprehensive advertising strategy involving TV ads, billboards, newspapers, social media and google ads to create store traffic, phone calls and emails from all across the country as well as our local market.
- Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Support in-store operations, including stocking, pricing, and merchandising
- Follow opening/closing procedures and store policies
- Help maintain visual standards and clean work areas
- Deliver outstanding customer support via phone and email
- Resolve service issues with professionalism and creativity
- Collaborate with management and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience in electronics preferred
- Strong product knowledge in TVs, home theatre, car audio, and audio equipment, and smart home technologies is a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a dynamic setting
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs .
- Reliable transportation required (for work and product training)
- Additional language skills are an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
