Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to inspire students through engaging music education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching music, working with children, and fostering a love for the arts. This role involves designing and delivering age-appropriate music lessons, encouraging creativity, and supporting students' musical development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes active participation and enjoyment of music
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Organize performances, recitals, or showcases to showcase student achievements
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other educators to support students’ overall development
- Incorporate diverse musical styles and cultural perspectives into lessons to enrich learning experiences
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment conducive to creativity and exploration
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching music
- Classroom experience is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to manage groups of young learners effectively
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular environments is preferred
- Skills in working with children include patience, adaptability, and the ability to motivate young students
- Additional skills such as cooking are considered a bonus but are not essential for this role

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
