QTK is looking for a dedicated, responsible Driver and Kitchen Site Measurement Technician to join our established company. You will be responsible for driving the President of the company to and from his site appointments. You will also be assisting the President and his team with completing site measurements for various Kitchen and Millwork Projects.
Prior experience with measuring and servicing kitchens is considered a huge asset.

Duties and responsibilities
- You will begin the day at 8:00 am in Thornhill.
- You will drive the President to various appointments in the GTA
- Visiting customers' homes and multi-residential job sites to measure and photograph projects
- Ensure that the space has been framed in properly, and confirm electrical and mechanical locations are correct
- Attach measuring pages & site photographs to the company ERP system to allow Engineers to view information for each project
- Coordinate with site supers via email any required changes
- Re-visit the site to confirm the changes have been made promptly and correctly
- Complete and send to the site super measuring reports
- Carry out basic finishing touches duties while on site such as door and drawer adjustments, delivery of small items and other simple finishing touches tasks
- Experience is necessary. If you are an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual this is the job for you.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to drive large vehicles
- Ability to use a measuring tape & laser measuring device
- Personable, Team Player, Accountable, Patient, Punctual, Reliable, Ability to Solve Problems
- Self-Starter – needs to take on tasks on his/her own, can’t wait to be assigned work
- Organized & capable of being in control of many things at one time. Ability to multi task, strong memory skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written in English
- Experience in woodworking or construction related industry IS REQUIRED
- Valid G driving license IS REQUIRED
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
