Position Overview: The Financial Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the campus. This individual ensures timely completion of refunds and collections and maintains adherence to multi-provincial student aid regulations. Additionally, the Financial Administrator collaborates with students to secure appropriate funding, supports administrative functions to enhance the student experience, and ensures compliance with internal and external policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accuracy:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Review and process reimbursements accurately.
- Prepare and monitor budgets.
Data Analysis:
- Continuously analyze campus financial data to identify trends and address issues promptly.
- Monitor investments, return on assets, and growth rates.
Student Funding Support:
- Work closely with students to ensure appropriate funding is secured.
- Provide guidance on financial aid options and scholarship opportunities.
Administrative Support:
- Collaborate with administrative teams to enhance the overall student experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to finance and student services.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Adhere to multi-provincial student aid regulations.
Professional Conduct:
- Uphold the College’s standards and act with integrity in all financial matters.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Maintain accurate financial records with minimal discrepancies.
- Achieve a 98% accuracy rate in financial transactions.
Timeliness:
- Process refunds and financial requests within specified timeframes.
- Communicate adjustments to financial data promptly.
Student Satisfaction:
- Receive positive feedback from students regarding financial support and services.
- Strive for a student satisfaction rate of 90% or higher.
Compliance Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Conduct regular audits to verify adherence.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of one year of accounting or finance experience in a service-oriented environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
