We are looking for the right candidate to grow the parts and service business of our West Kelowna location.
Position duties
Sell and receive parts as well as perform in-store customer service, inside sales, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Sell OEM parts and provide aftermarket options as an alternative.
Serve as the vital link between customers and technicians. This includes greeting customers, assist diagnosing equipment issues, scheduling appointments, creating accurate repair estimates, and coordinating workflow to ensure a smooth service experience
The tasks you will be responsible for:
- Advise customers on the available parts and service options when their equipment need repairs
- Verify warranty coverage's
- Prepare work orders by describing symptoms, problems and communicating necessary information to the repairing technicians
- Maintain customer rapport, build customer relationships
- Review and discuss equipment maintenance needs
- Develop estimates by quoting parts, labour and supplies
- Continue to expand on knowledge base, perform training to better serve our customers
- Upsell additional services or products when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and transaction records.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the service process.
- Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- CDK program experience preferred but not essential
- Good with computers and “software savvy”
- Have prior equipment or automotive mechanical basic knowledge.
- Have experience: writing detailed repair orders, scheduling repairs, customer communication & follow up. Parts searching, ordering and receiving an asset.
Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
