This role manages the financial health, reporting, and profitability of a commercial print production company. We are looking for the right individual to join the management team and fill this very important seat. A Senior Financial Controller in the print industry directs the accounting, cost analysis, and financial planning operations. This specialized role manages the heavy manufacturing overhead, inventory valuation, while partnering directly with executives to improve site profitability and capital investment strategies. This is a role that drives both the P&L and the Balance Sheet impacting decisions today that borne results years after. We need a keen team player who is looking to be part of a team long term, diligently focussed on building something that will give back to the employees.
Core Responsibilities:
· Financial & Cost Accounting: Oversee general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end close.
· Job Costing & P&L Analysis: Take a hands-on approach to developing comprehensive job-costing systems to track profitability by print job, customer, and product.
· Factory Performance: Evaluate factory and department overhead rates, track inventory, and assist plant management in driving productivity through financial data analysis.
· Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate annual operating budgets and proactively present forecasts and financial strategies to senior leadership.
· Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with tax filings, oversee internal controls, and coordinate external audits.
Key Requirements:
· Accounting designation (e.g., CPA) or significant equivalent experience in corporate finance.
· Experience with manufacturing or print ERP software.
· Deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and operational metrics in a production environment.
Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
