Organization Background:
Hellenic Home for the Aged Inc. a not for profit, charitable organization, operating a 225- unit seniors’ apartment complex, two Long Term Care facilities, with 82 beds in Toronto, and 128 beds in Scarborough, an Adult Day program, and a Supportive Housing division, seeks a Human Resources Manager.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Administrator, this role provides vital and active communication to the tenants, staff, contractors, volunteers and visitors of the Home. This is a professional, highly customer service oriented position.
Duties:
- Accurately and efficiently answer phone calls, provide information and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- General and specific administrative support as required and assigned by the Administrator.
- Clerical duties including filing, creation of documents, arranging deliveries, and other duties as assigned by the Administrator
- Provide central communication role in emergency situations
- Assist tenants with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to, filling out forms, phone calls, etc.
- Input work order information into the specified database
- All other clerical duties related to reception
