Job Summary
We are hiring for a friendly, dependable, and self-motivated person to join our team at our charming country inn (The Old Bank House) in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, meeting new people, and creating a warm and welcoming experience for guests. As our Morning Host and Breakfast Attendant, you will take the lead in ensuring guests start their day with exceptional service while keeping the property running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive in the dining room, creating a positive first impression and setting a welcoming tone for the morning..
- Serve breakfast and clean up the dining room area after breakfast. Bonus if you can cook.
- Keep the kitchen, dining room, and common areas clean and organized.
- Assist guests with questions, recommendations, and check-out needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and other morning duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Previous hospitality or food service experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
- Flexible availability.

Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Familiar with Niagara-on-the-Lake, and able to confidently provide local recommendations, directions, and insights to enchance guest experiences.
- Must be physically fit to work
- English proficiency
Schedule
- Morning shifts beginning at 7:30 am
- Shifts typically end between 11am - 12pm
- Candidate will be covering the main innkeeper's days off (2-4 days a week), so there is lots of flexibility in scheduling.
- This is a seasonal position for the busy tourism season, with the opportunity to become a permanent role if we will still need it.
