Position Overview
The Parts and Service Advisor is the face of Max Advanced Brakes, responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging in-person experience for customers.
We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, energetic, and customer-focused Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, a passion for customer service, and a genuine love for vehicles. The successful candidate understands automotive basics, and takes pride in helping customers select the right products for their needs.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience by effectively communicating accurate information, addressing inquiries, and maintaining open communication with both customers and our technical team, with a focus on the customer’s complete satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, professional showroom experience
- Engage customers in conversations about their vehicles, driving needs, and performance goals
- Assist customers in selecting the correct products for their vehicle make and model
- Answer product questions clearly and confidently, both technical and general
- Promote, up-sell, and cross-sell Max Advanced Brakes products when appropriate
- Process in-person orders, payments, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Address customer concerns or complaints with empathy and a solution-focused approach
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
- Coordinate with office and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Stay informed on product updates, promotions, and automotive trends
Skills and Requirements
- Successful completion of a Secondary School diploma.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service or related field.
- Previous experience in retail or Parts and Service environment (preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interest in cars or automotive parts (highly desirable)
- Friendly, outgoing demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for helping people
- Ability to explain technical information in a simple, customer-friendly way
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
