About the Role
Budget Car & Truck Rental is seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our team in Tofino, BC for the busy tourism season. This position runs approximately May through September/October and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment in one of British Columbia’s most popular summer destinations.
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring visitors to Tofino have a smooth and positive rental experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with vehicle reservations, check-outs, and returns
- Process rental agreements and payments
- Provide helpful local recommendations and information to visitors
- Clean, fuel, and prepare vehicles for rental
- Inspect vehicles for damage and ensure fleet readiness
- Perform general administrative and operational tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Organized and reliable with the ability to multitask
- Comfortable working weekends and holidays during peak season
- Previous tourism, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset
Compensation & Benefits
- $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Housing
