Help Us Bring More Cake to the Community!
Nothing Bundt Cakes is looking for an energetic, outgoing and results-driven Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator to help grow our presence — and our sales — throughout the local community.
This isn't a traditional desk marketing role. You'll be out in the community building relationships, introducing local businesses, schools and organizations to Nothing Bundt Cakes and turning those connections into corporate orders, fundraisers, events, sponsorships and long-term partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Proactively connect with local businesses, schools, sports teams, community groups and organizations
- Build relationships with decision-makers and develop new sales opportunities
- Generate corporate gifting, large orders and recurring business
- Develop and coordinate school and community fundraisers
- Identify local events, sponsorships and partnership opportunities
- Visit businesses and organizations to introduce our bakery and deliver samples
- Promote cakes for employee appreciation, client gifts, meetings, holidays, celebrations and corporate events
- Attend networking, business and community events
- Follow up with prospects and build long-term relationships that generate repeat business
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, contacts and opportunities
- Track sales and results generated through community outreach
- Work closely with the bakery team to coordinate promotions, events and larger orders
- Support other local marketing initiatives as needed
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is outgoing, confident and not afraid to introduce themselves, make a call or walk into a local business and start a conversation.
You'll be a great fit if you:

- Are comfortable with sales, networking and proactive outreach
- Are self-motivated and able to work independently
- Have excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Are organized and able to manage multiple leads and relationships
- Are creative in finding new opportunities to grow the business
- Enjoy being out in the community rather than sitting behind a desk all day
- Have previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, hospitality, fundraising or community outreach — an asset
- Have knowledge of the Vaughan/Woodbridge business community — an asset
Vehicle Requirements
A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as this position involves regular travel throughout the local community.
Business mileage is reimbursed, along with approved business expenses related to outreach activities.
