Position Summary
Amphenol HSIO is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Recruitment Assistant (Co-op) to join our Human Resources team. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in talent acquisition, employer branding, and HR operations to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment.
In this role, you will support recruitment activities across the full hiring lifecycle—from sourcing and resume screening to interview coordination, reporting, and onboarding support. You’ll also contribute to employer branding initiatives and talent market research to help strengthen our hiring strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an HR Recruitment Assistant (Co-op), you will support the team in the following areas:

Resume Screening & Shortlisting : Review candidate applications and help identify qualified talent to support a smooth, high-volume hiring process.

Candidate Sourcing : Proactively source candidates for technical and hard-to-fill roles using online platforms, talent databases, and creative sourcing strategies.

Interview Coordination : Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate movement through hiring stages, and help ensure a positive candidate experience.

Social Media Recruitment Branding :Assist with promoting job opportunities across digital and social media platforms to improve candidate engagement and visibility.

Employer Branding Support : Support the creation of compelling job content and recruitment messaging to strengthen Amphenol HSIO’s employer brand.

Talent Market Mapping : Research engineering and manufacturing talent markets, including candidate availability and compensation trends, to help inform hiring strategies.

HR Onboarding & Orientation Support : Assist with pre-onboarding steps, new hire documentation, system entry, orientation scheduling, Day 1 preparation, and new hire support.
What We’re Looking For

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong interest in recruitment, HR operations, and employer branding

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience with HR systems, ADP, or applicant tracking systems is an asset

The pay rate for this position is $20/hr. – 24/hr. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education.
