Duties:
- Serve as the face of Wireway in the field, delivering exceptional service and building strong client relationships.
- Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs in existing commercial spaces, with a focus on renovations and tenant improvements.
- Execute small projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Consult with clients on-site to assess needs, answer questions, and recommend solutions that meet their goals.
- Perform site assessments to evaluate scope, identify potential issues, and provide accurate information for quoting and planning.
- Ensure all work is completed to code, demonstrating expert-level proficiency with the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Maintain thorough documentation on every job through the CRM, including service reports and QA checklists.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout each job, keeping them informed and confident in the work being done.
- Identify opportunities to expand services or address additional client needs, supporting Wireway's growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling, efficient service delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful work environment, adhering to all company guidelines and Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Train and mentor apprentices with an emphasis on client service, professionalism, and code compliance.
Assets:
- FSR (Field Safety Representative) certification
- Sales experience or a natural ability to identify and communicate value to clients
- Fire Alarm Experience
Qualifications:
We're in search of a dynamic team leader with extensive experience handling electrical projects in active environments. The perfect candidate will have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, consistently ensuring top-notch quality in their work.
- Red Seal Certification
- 6+ years electrical experience
- Valid Class 5 BC drivers license
- Safety, Fall Protection, Lift certifications (asset)
- Proficient with apps and computer programs
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings/circuit designs
- Proficient with email and verbal communication
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
