We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bender Operator to join our manufacturing team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating bending machines to shape metal components according to blueprints and production specifications. Experience with CNC press brakes or metal forming equipment is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate bending machines such as CNC press brakes and metal forming equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as required
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety standards and production procedures
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bender Operator, Press Brake Operator, or similar manufacturing role
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring tools
- Experience with CNC machines is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift materials when required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- English or French communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes
- Experience with Amada, Trumpf, or similar bending equipment
- Forklift certification is an asset
