Job Description
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper to care for two toddlers in a warm and welcoming family home. The ideal candidate is nurturing, energetic, patient, and enjoys engaging young children in fun and educational activities while helping maintain a clean and organized household.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for two toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Assist with feeding, diapering, dressing, and maintaining daily routines
- Support nap schedules and encourage positive development
- Keep children's play areas, bedrooms, and belongings clean and organized
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying, vacuuming, and general cleaning
- Assist with grocery shopping and occasional household errands
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's daily activities and well-being
Schedule
- Full-time (35–40 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be required with advance notice
Qualifications
- Must currently reside in Canada — Overseas applications will not be considered
- Previous experience caring for infants or toddlers is required
- Experience caring for multiple young children is an asset
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Patient, caring, responsible, and dependable
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are an asset
