Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will be responsible in supporting all aspects of the operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, and generation of sales and revenue while delivering a return on investment.
The Assistant General Manager will assist in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies. The Assistant General Manager will hold a passion for hospitality and guest service bringing self-confidence, energy and dedication to the hotel daily.
A natural coach and mentor, our successful candidate will verify all brand standards are maintained while motivating team members to exceed guest expectations.
The successful candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year’s experience as Operations Manager or 4 years’ experience as Rooms / Front Office Manager or F&B Manager.
Prior experience in a Marriott property, and/or F&B is considered an asset.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time/frequently in order to interact with clients and employees both internal and external to the hotel.
Must have valid driver’s licence.
