Merchandise Manager
On behalf of our client- TA Appliance & BBQ’s is looking for a highly motivated Merchandise Manager. The Merchandise Manager leads pricing, promotions, vendor programs, and merchandising execution across in-store and online channels. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, supporting revenue growth, optimizing processes, and collaborating across teams to deliver a consistent customer experience. - Oversee the setup, management, and execution of pricing, promotions, and sales events across in-store and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely implementation.
- Lead the vendor claim process to maximize funding recoveries through accurate and timely submissions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, ecommerce, and operations.
- Analyze merchandising, pricing, promotional, and performance reports to support business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor and audit pricing, promotional changes, and product data to ensure consistency across systems and customer-facing channels.
- Develop and maintain a merchandising and promotional calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, vendor programs, and operational timelines.
- Identify and implement improvements to merchandising processes, reporting efficiency, vendor programs, and promotional execution.
- Support new initiatives and revenue-driving strategies through cross-functional collaboration and project ownership.
- Mentor and support team members by helping establish best practices and effective workflows.
- Perform additional duties and provide departmental support as needed.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated background in merchandising, pricing, retail operations, or a related management role.
- Demonstrated proficiency working with ERP systems; knowledge of ePASS is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships.
- A process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and execution.
