Billing Coordinator – Finance, Toronto

We are currently seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Finance team to work out of our Toronto office.
MTE Consultants is a multidisciplinary engineering firm that has been shaping Ontario since 1985 with offices in Kitchener, Burlington, Toronto, London, Kingston, Ottawa, Barrie and Stratford. Our services include civil and structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, building and environmental science, and land surveying.

Responsibilities
- Work with Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely billing to clients.
- Monitor Work in Progress aging and review with Project Managers monthly.
- Assist Project Managers with accounting related administrative duties as required.
- Assist with project set up and modification in Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations.
- Perform other accounting duties, as required.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting is an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with project billing in Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations is an asset.
- Understanding of, and experience working with, project proposals, contracts and budgeting considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and work well independently.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office software, including Word and Excel.
- Experience with project-based accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
