Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as a journeyman with valid tickets (CVIP for Tractor and Trailers.
- Engine diagnostics and repairs
- Aftertreatment and emissions diagnostics
- Electrical and electronic diagnostics
- Air Brake Systems
- Steering and Suspension
- Driveline and Powertrain
- HVAC systems
- Preventive Maintenance and Inspections
- CVIP Inspections
- Trailer diagnosis and Repairs
- Troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Requirements:
- Alberta Journeyman Truck & Transport Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Technician certification or equivalent Red Seal.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Valid Class 5 driver's license but prefer Class 3 with air to take units to various shops for drop off when required.
- Experience working with highway tractors and trailers.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- CVIP license is preferred and valid on Tractor and Trailers.
